Princess Ballerina and Prince Camp

We are very excited for Summer of Dance 2019 to begin on Monday, Jun 17! First up on the schedule is our raved about Princess Ballerina + Prince Camp, June 17 – 21 10:00 – 11:15am. This week-long morning camp is filled with dance, music, story time and crafts. This camp is designed for 2 – 4 year olds and will allow them to explore their natural love of movement and music. This nurturing learning environment won’t just be about fun but will incorporate educational tools as well.  Only a few spots left in the June session, sign up today! If you can’t make the June camp sign up for our August 12 – 16 camp.

We are excited to have alumni and sisters Lauren and Olivia Moyer return to run both the June and August Princess Ballerina + Prince Camp this Summer! Learn more about what they have been up to this past year. They are very excited to return to BBTCD and share their love of dance with our students.

Lauren Moyer is a 2016 alum of Berks Ballet Theatre Conservatory of Dance and Company — she’s a graduate of Exeter Senior High School. As a current junior in the honors college at Duquesne University, Lauren is studying Speech-Language Pathology on a track to obtain her master’s degree in a five-year accelerated program. Lauren traveled to Boston this past November to present research on community engagement programs at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) convention. At Duquesne, Lauren is involved in Best Buddies, an executive board member for Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, and attends community classes at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Next year Lauren will begin graduate school course work in Duquesne’s SLP clinic.

Olivia Moyer is a Berks Ballet Theatre Conservatory of Dance and Company alumni of 2018. After graduating from Exeter High School, Olivia continued her education at Villanova University in their Business School. Over her academic year, she has been accepted as a researcher for the Undergraduate Research Program studying the Gender Pay Gap in the C-Suite, working closely with Villanova professors. Olivia is also a member of Villanova’s Women in Business executive board. Recently, she was admitted into a business study abroad program which she plans to attend next year in Urbino, Italy. Olivia has also been able to maintain her involvement in dance. She is a member of Villanova’s Dance Company who organizes several performances and showcases throughout the year.

We look forward to seeing you in the studios this summer!
