Outstanding Young Woman
Ahna Romanski a senior at Governor Mifflin was crowned Berks County’s Outstanding Young Woman 2020 on September 28, 2019. Not only did she win the overall title she also won 1st place in the interview category and 1st place in talent! Ahna competed with Kitri’s Variation from ACT III of Don Quixote. She has been with Berks Ballet Theatre Conservatory of Dance since she was 5 years old and as a BBT Company Member, she will perform as the Snow Queen along with multiple other roles in this year’s production of The Nutcracker.
There was a recent feature in Governor Mifflin’s The Mustang Messenger on Girl Power and Ahna was one of three girls highlighted for her commitment to ballet. See below to learn what being a dancer at Berks Ballet Theatre means to her.
