Forgotten Fairy Tales Recap

Berks Ballet Theatre returned to the Miller Center for the Arts for the first time since 2019 with Forgotten Fairy Tales. Two new ballets were presented, A Ballerina’s Tale and Red Rose & Snow White.

“We were so happy to return to the Miller Center for the company’s Spring Performance — We haven’t had the pleasure of performing here since 2019!” said Nathan Bland, Ballet Master & Resident Choreographer.

“It’s always fun to take a story like Red Rose & Snow White and create movement so that the audience can interpret the story without words.”

The audience was filled with families who attended a pre-performance party where they enjoyed treats, crafts, and a dancer’s meet and greet.

“Another beautiful element of BBT’s return to the Miller Center was being able to host a pre-performance party again! It’s such a fun way for kids and parents to interact with the dancers as well as each other. When they are watching the performance they have a connection to those dancers which I believe allows them to enjoy the performance even more!” said Bland.

It was a great end to BBT’s 46th season!
